Welcome to our website. I am an American who through my travels has found a place of beauty with an utterly fascinating culture. A vacation destination and location with unspoiled palm fringed beaches, a village rich in history, and a people and culture that resonate with the world of music and dance.

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and just 1.5 kilometers from the historic “Quadrado” of Trancoso we have created Villas de Trancoso, a private villa retreat, pousada and boutique hotel. Our goal has been simple. To offer our guests an extraordinary combination of manicured gardens, superb cuisine, attentive staff and miles of endless golden sand. A place where they can come to relax, explore and share special time with family and friends.

For those of you who have not been with us for a while we have a surprise. Sidnei, our new Restaurant Manager and Chef, has been doing some amazing things in our kitchen. Sidnei’s dishes coupled with his caring and attentive staff make dinner under the stars and around our pool a romantic event that guests want to experience over and over.

We were honored to have Paul as a guest earlier this year and while here he took the opportunity to chronicle the history and wonderful offerings of our area. We think you will enjoy.
