The vision of Villas de Trancoso came to life in 2001 when, while on vacation, I passed through the small fishing village of Trancoso, Brazil. What I found was a coastline of pristine golden sand beaches, a village rich in history and a culture that resonated to the world of music and dance. Trancoso was also rapidly becoming a melting pot of diverse cultures and its emerging infrastructure including a jet airport and world class golf course provided the perfect backdrop for a uniquely different vacation experience. That visit brought me to a beautiful palm studded beach that was soon to become my home. Since that time Trancoso has gained recognition for its charming village and festive party atmosphere but people still come to enjoy the privacy and serenity of one of the most beautiful spots on earth.

Fast forward to 2003 and Villas de Trancoso emerged, a private villa retreat offering luxury villas, fine cuisine and located on one of the most picturesque beaches in Brazil. Our focus on luxury, privacy and service quickly drew the attention of couples seeking romance and celebrities and executives seeking private moments away from the public eye.

Our lush grounds include a spa with pool, a second white marble pool, a restaurant and a business center. On the beach you will find a health and fitness center, waterfall showers and the Villas beach bar. Our five star Restaurant is a favorite destination of locals, visitors and guests alike.

Today our guests come from around the world. Some come seeking a vacation retreat for a romantic honeymoon or wedding. Others come to unwind from the hectic pace of their everyday lives. Whatever you seek, we welcome you to come, smile, relax and share in the beauty of our village, beaches and our creation.
